1. Scope
These terms apply to all TownsTech hosting services, including:
- Shared Hosting
- VPS Hosting
- Cloud Hosting
- Business Hosting
- Email Hosting
- Reseller Hosting
2. Service Availability
TownsTech aims to provide reliable hosting services.
While we strive for maximum uptime, service interruptions may occur due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Hardware failure
- Software updates
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Third-party provider outages
- Force majeure events
3. Backups
TownsTech may perform routine backups.
However:
- Backups are provided as a courtesy.
- Restoration is not guaranteed.
- Customers must maintain independent backups of critical data.
4. Security Responsibilities
TownsTech Responsibilities
- Server security maintenance
- Network protection
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Malware detection systems
Customer Responsibilities
- Strong passwords
- Software updates
- Secure coding practices
- Website security
- Data backups
5. Suspension of Services
Services may be suspended where:
- Invoices remain unpaid
- Security threats are detected
- Illegal activity is identified
- Resource abuse occurs
- Terms are violated
6. Resource Usage
Shared hosting services operate under fair usage principles.
Accounts may be restricted if they:
- Consume excessive CPU resources
- Use excessive memory
- Generate abnormal traffic loads
- Affect service quality for other customers
7. Data Loss
TownsTech shall not be liable for loss of data resulting from:
- Customer actions
- Software vulnerabilities
- Malware infections
- Third-party failures
- Natural disasters
- Force majeure events
8. Account Termination
Upon termination:
- Hosting services will cease.
- Customer data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
- Outstanding balances remain payable.
Customers should download all data before account closure.
9. Support
Support is provided through:
- Client portal
- Ticketing systems
- Other communication channels designated by TownsTech
Response times are targets only and are not guaranteed unless covered by a separate written SLA.
